To open a bank account in France, you will need to provide certain documents, typically including:

– Proof of work (work contract or payslips,…) or student status in France depending on the bank’s requirements

As for online banks, the process is quite simple and fast as no paperwork, no queues, as following the online registration steps.
As for the traditional banks, you will need to schedule an appointment with the bank, visit the bank premise to complete paperwork with the bank representative “conseiller“.
Normally, once your application processed and approved, you will receive the bank card by post mail.
